The other day my comp was on and then i went in the other room and came back and it was off and something smelled burned.
the fans were spinning on the PSU but then stopped. So I thought it was a psu failure. I bought a new PSU and that won won't work either.
I tested both PSUs by themselves and they both work when you do that little paperclip test with the green and black pins on the 24 pin mobo connector. the lights turn green the fans spin. So its not the PSU right?
Is it the motherboard thats broken, the CPU? How do you test each part to see if its broken? remember the computer wont turn on so im talking about testing them to see if they are getting power or working physically.
