The software that came with my scanner sucks

Every time I scan something it makes it legal paper size. I can change it manually but it just goes back to the legal paper size the next time I scan something.

Are there any other programs I could use instead? I'm using a brother MFC-3220C if it matters.

just install the drivers and use a program like adobe acobat
