i'm gonna be going into my third year at university of chicago and i research protein folding dynamics... pay is so so, the NIH only spares so much chump change for undergraduate reseach (~9,000 per year).

last summer was sweet though... i worked in the corporate energy sector (nuclear reactor) and got paid amazingly, like 20 bucks an hour, plus 400 for living expenses plus gas money. i might even go back there between undergrad and md/phd school.

Pretty much. The downside is I am on call 24/7. And some people abuse that fact.

Well adding super to your name might have something to do with it. getting called at 3am must be a drag.

I work at McDonalds, have been there for over 2 years. Im now making $7.60/hr

I also work for Netview, Inc. setting up pc/servers and imaging for $17/hr

I'm a student, who wants to work badly, but haven't got the chance. All I do now, is sell junk from my garage, to get money for myself, and the rig. I also fix friend's and relatives' computers for a small fee of $50 each.

Tempting, cause till now I do it free of charge.
