You own a car? Care to share?

non native English speakers generally tend to speak English more properly, - though not as fluently as natives...

the same is true of most languages.

Yeah, another fact to the matter. A fact that is half sad, when it comes to real life encounters.

I can't forget the looks on some natives' faces when I screwed up in vocabulary speaking to them. And some mistakes where REALLY screwed up.

High compression ratio is actually hard with a turbo motor. Generally with a turbo, you want lower compression ratios, otherwise it gets too hot in the cylinder and you get pre-detonation. Or you can run e85... Some guys run 10:1+ with turbo e85 setups.

280hp out of a 4cyl is impressive... How about 900hp though? Few other cars in the video include a 1300hp GTR, 700hp LSX RX7...

E85 resists heat more than high octane gasoline? Some MB's use 10:1 CR and just RON95 gas is recommended even here in our really hot weather.

Or maybe I'm missing something? We don't have e85 here after all.

I'll check the video when I get home. Sounds crazy.

No pics, but...

My old work car is a '93 Ford Escort, 5-speed two-door. It is a light brown/champagne color... mostly. It has been totaled; an old dude made a left hand turn in front of my mom (who used to own it way back when, long story). Insurance totaled it but my dad fixed it with 300 in parts and 50 in labor (old school know-how, baby). So the driver's front fender, hood, and front bumper are black primer. It has been beat and banged and looks like crap but still runs like a scalded dog.

My wife's vehicle is a '99 Ford Expedition. Leather interior, 5.0 V8, flip-down TV, CD changer, yada yada yada. It is white with custom gray trim, also making it two toned.

My company car is a 2012 Nissan Versa hatchback. It is white and an automatic.

The Escort and Expedition are both paid for, and my company car is paid for by my work (as well as its gas, maintenance, insurance, etc).

Nothing fancy but they all run. ;)
