Ok,

Way out of my league here so I need some help from the experts. I am not a computer person and don't want to even try and fake it so here goes. Like many others I received FEAR for Christmas installed it and found out my video card does not support the game. Great!!!! Did some research and found out there are a million different cards and I have no idea what to get. The below is some of my computer specs with the current video card info. What do I need to make this game work? What video card should I get (will spend up to $200.00) Will getting a new video card solve all the problems or will I then find out I need to buy something else? Any info would be helpful. Keep in mind up until last week I didn't even know what a video card was. If you need more info let me know and I will find it. Thanks all.

I would upgrade your RAM to, I think the minimum for FEAR is 1gig, or is that the recommended? I forget.

I think that a 6800GT is the best agp card atm. (atleast from nVidia) It will play fear nicely.

How much wattage does ur power supply have?
If u don't know then open the case and take a look at the power supply, some where on it should read the wattage. Not sure what the recommended is for a 6800GT, maybe like 400W.

neither. Minimum is 512 and recommended is 2GB.
But yeah, 1GB of ram would be good for FEAR.

ooops, sorry for the double post.
