I was messing around with UBCD4WIN (testing virus scanner, undelete programs, password recv progs, hd tester) and found that my profiles are gone after logging into XP. I don't see any user profile folder in the document and setting folder. XP used a default profile which the desktop has only the recycle bin icon and the start menu program has only startup folder.
I used an undelete program to see if there are traces of the missing profiles but I couldn't see anything.
I found them. They're in c:\interpub\document and setting
how can they be in there? shouldn't they be in c:\document and setting?
