I have the full retail release due to msdn membership. But the other way to get it is to buy the oem version (this is all that is onsale at the moment) the rule with OEM is that it must be bought with hardware... I know of people buying a £1 cable and a copy of x64 together.

The newegg version should be the same as I am running... if so its great!

Apple stole a bunch of the "flashy" tricks from Longhorn I guess, back when Longhorn preview came out. I'll post a link to the article in a bit when I find it, I dont want to say they stole them I guess, just that they look a LOT alike. Sorry but as much as I like Mac, they stole it if you ask me.

Also you have to remember that the purpose of XP64 is for programers and software companys to start boaring their programs to be ready for Longhorn, it never was a released OS to be honest. Just a pre-quil to the forthcoming Longhorn.

As far as buying XP64 I believe that you can trade up your 32bit license for a licensed copy of XP64.

WHA?! That makes sense, Because it makes sense, I'm sure MS would never do it. ;)
