XP over Win7, not what you may think

Phew, took three attempts. First I used NTFS file system, but to the same effect. Then I decided to delete the drive and not allocate it all with a file system, same effect. I said to poop with it and did NTFS one last time, and it took. I'm running a smooth XP with my proper wifi and 3650 drivers, yay! But yeah, i'm thinking this thing is having hardware issues and is on it's last leg.

Windows 7 made it so some older computer can't boot from an Xp or earlier os cd. Windows 8 just flat out won't let you boot on most computers with the cd including windows 8. You can boot 3rd party disc however to wipe clean then go back an install the older stuff
