XP Image & Fax viewer

Have seen a few hints on disabling but I think it is rather good for sorting through graphic folders.

What I dislike is it's invoking of Paint rather that a program of choice for editing.

Could I disable MSPaint or substitute my own preference ?

Ta, but I think you miss my point, I want the jump from imgview, not to bypass it !

I have long thought to write a VB prog to run as a slide show routine but with cmdbuttons for Delete, Rename,Move etc much as shimgvr.dll.

Problem is Edit goes to MSPaint ! - Hopeless

But if I Associate a real graphic prog to jpg, or whatever, Imageviewer will be bypassed.

I like the larger view rather than thumnails or total screen.
