Xbox with HD?

Yup chip vs drive? Hmmm the only issue I can see is if it lags or crashes in games what about uploading to hd. Or maybe unloading games on computer to hd and then putting it in xbox. Idk, it did take 15 minutes to copy a 16 song Iron Maiden cd to the **** thing. My dad said he will order me one since there so **** cheap so we will see. Oh and I still havent told him about the working hd. Lol

If you really want (since your getting a mod chip) you can install Windows on it and use it as a nifty looking jukebox thing. Idk.

lol that's right, you don't know. you can't run windows on the xbox, you can run linux. it is possible to then run windows in Qemu from within linux but that just isn't worth it. XBMC....now that is nifty

Isn't the HD only 4GB on the XBOX? Not really worth doing anything to it.

Not sure where you are getting your's from, but freind of mine scored a 20Gb that was partitioned down to be 4gb.

20gb is enough space of an OS drive.

Actualy, regular Xbox HDs are 8gig. Or rather supposed to all be. All of mine are.

actually, you can put windows on the xbox, i've done it...its an app called Windows CE...it works like crap though....but i love my modded box...you can "backup" your games and install XBMC and listen to all ur music, watch all your vids (any codec)...it makes a great cheap divx/xvid dvd player...
