Xbox 360 Controller on PC

I know this isn't EXACTLY the place to ask, but I figured that this can be regarded as PC hardware once it actually works.

I've got two wireless controllers for my Xbox 360 downstairs. I've seen controllers advertised as "Windows" controllers on the Microsoft website, and I guess they're meant to be PC controllers that you could technically use while PC gaming.

I've heard that you can actually use your original 360 wired/wireless controllers on your PC without having to buy a new one. Is this possible? And if so, how? I tried searching but found nothing.

I don't have many games atm to use the controller on, but it would be nice to know if this is a possibility.

Cheers,

Chris

The wired Xbox 360 controller can be plugged into any available USB port on your computer. You can grab the needed drivers HERE.

As for the wireless ones, you need the USB receiver for them to work. I'm not sure if you can buy them separately from MS.
