Ok basically i've noticed how many "X"s are in the names of modern hardware, but it would be interesting to see how the amount of "x"s in a computer spec compares with performance. For example a beast of a PC might have

fX-62, 7900gtX, X -fi Xtreme music, wd raptor X, corsair twin X and so on.

If your really lucky you have an XFX 7900gtx XXX and then you have a tonne of "X"s

This might seem a bit weird but generally more X = better performance.

The other thing is that its funny how numbers play a big part in everything.

I guess its all just marketing in the end, but for now i'll stick with my 2 "X" system :)

You lot got any thoughts on all this or am i just bored.

so true:)

AMD X2 Lineup.

7900GTX

X1900XTX

NZXT Lexa Case

Aspire X Cruiser case.

6800 XT

FX lineup as you have mentioned.

Jesus 7 X'es!!!!!....wow you must be REAAALLY cool then :)

I wonder what the next cool letter is gonna be, Z?

X is good - its the ultimate cool letter :)

ZFZ doesnt have the same ring to it and the packaging would be crap.

"Secsfire..."

Psht... Since the TX model computer was released :p

Mac os X

AppleX (<-The beatles made an Apple ripoff or something)

Xbox

Xaster

eXct...

next the i would be the best letter in hardware. Then the J, the K, the L, M, N, O....

dont XFX do a X1900XTX XXX?

ZFZ doesnt have the same ring to it and the packaging would be crap.

yea, lol, they would have to bring out flexible cards to make them fit.

well I guess my system must suck because I don't have an X anywhere in it.

It must be the X-ception to the rule!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG!! WHAT A GREAT JOKE!!!!
