I just went to use my USB drive, and I wasn't able to access it because of a write protection. I unplugged it, and then plugged it back it thinking that might help but now the drive won't even show up. I can see it on my device manager list, but that is it.
I googled around and found something that might work, but my drive won't show up so I can't carry out the process.
Running Windows 7 32 bit, the drive is Maxtor OneTouch 500 gig, in case you are wondering. Any help? Is it possible to initialize a write protected disk?
