I was thinking, i have been reading about WPA and WPA2 and how there was an exploit that you could use the rainbow tables to recover the password. but i noticed that they were talkin about SSID here
Code:
http://www.renderlab.net/projects/WPA-tables/

I dont understand why they included the 1000 most used SSID's. Sorry if I sound stupid, but can anyone explain what that means?

No one?

If you have your net work hidden it means that its like a shot in the dark for finding your router. They don't announce themselves when people are looking for them. Therefore people use the ssid list like a password list to brute force search for wireless routers.
