It's really not a good idea to buy a high end AGP card IMO, but if you are going to, I think you should buy the best you can, you don't want to want to upgrade in 3 months, would you?
I really think you should get a PCIe motherboard, though. Maybe get one of those ASRock ULI boards?

ok...so that makes sense to get the higher end one.......lol....i just said in this system i dont need to have PCI-e as i already have it in another rig. so i will stay with AGP until i get rid of this computer and my other rig becomes complete. but thanks.

In that case go for the 7800GS, it's the best AGP card out there ^^
