about to buy a XFX HD-489X-ZSFR

Never mind, friend actually has the same thing and works fine

So,I took the fans out and installed my old water cooling system out and took the dvd drive out. that should AT least help out a bit

Yes its BARELY. So NO OC for me anytime soon.

I will get a 700W for Crossfire though

or might hold that 4890 since I got it for 150 new off craiglist

Got my card today and work
I overclocked it to 923 of the 850 and its running fine
 
you obviously dont get the point of what i ment.

you CAN power a 4890 on a 500W PSU, especially if its a quality power supply.

but i strongly recommend a bigger PSU because when your close to maxing out a power supply, it becomes less efficent, works harder, and lasts for a shorter amount of time.

I get your point. the PSU is stressing out thus will die fast I get it dude. -_-
