worl on conflict

i do lol i ran the demo and ran everything on full @ 1680x1050 full aa and everything every possible option on full and i get somthin like 20fps

which 8800GTS is it? 320MB or 640MB? if it's the 640MB you will be more than okay. If it's the 320MB, don't expect great results @ high resolutions.

Also go here http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest it can run your computer and give you the results for the game. It's not 100% accurate, but works very well. They take the mininum / required specs and gives you a rating on your computer. But I can tell you that you will pass with flying colors :)

he will do it fine at high resolutions even with the 320 mb one.

When running the in game benchmark program I get like 36FPS on average with settings on High at 1280X768

Also spywarebanisher don't make assumptions about graphics cards. I can barely pull like 24FPS on average at 1680X1050 with effects on high and DX10 enabled.

Also curious SFX how you put in AA and all that unless you were using forceware because the actual games settings don't allow for much tweaking. Other than resolutions or detail settings levels.

im using forceware 163.75 and the demo dose allow tweaking in the advanced section.. also i have a the 320mb version

Ahh I had to upgrade to 163.69 for this game cause I was getting a lock up on occasion. I have the full version. I'll have to look again but I don't see a place to tweak individual settings. I'll check and post back. Trust me your not running that game on high with a 320meg GTS @1680X1050. It will play fine until bombs start falling everywhere then it slows to a crawl man. I'll run a in game bench and report back at 1680X1050 post the results. I'll run the tests at factory 8800GTS speeds.

EDIT IN:
Okay I just ran a bunch of In Game WIC benchs.

I couldn't find any special settings just Very High, High, Medium, Low, Very low. If you choose Medium or lower it kicks you out of DX10 and into DX9. First I tried Very High @ 1680X1050. You may as well forgot that setting I got about 5fps then crashed after about 15 seconds. My guess I ran out of Vram. So for the purpose of the tests I used the High setting and Medium. Medium again is DX9 and High is DX10. So here are the results. Final FPS listed is my overal FPS during the benchmark.

1680X1050

(High) 17FPS DX10
(Medium) 46FPS DX9

1280X768
(High) 30FPS DX10
(Medium) 58FPS DX9

1024X768
(High) 32FPS DX10
(Medium) 61FPS DX9

You can see there is a huge jump in FPS between DX10 and DX9. Either way the game looks really good. Explosions just don't look quite as eye candy in DX9 don't get me wrong they still look great. I play at 1280X768 on high with DX10.

So if you consider 17FPS at high settings to be good at 1680X1050 then your set. I think thats horrible myself. I'd recommend 1280X768 for the best playable FPS and still have DX10. Again thats with the card at stock. Overclocking the card I can get like 36-37FPS on average at 1280X768 with my cpu at 3525mhz.

You may as well forget very high settings though.
