DFI Lanparty ultra-d....PSU is an antec smartpower 500w.

I got it to 3.0ghz stable last night primed for 12 hours.

Vcore is at 1.5 and temps are fine...I dunno if it will go past 3.0 but I'll try tonight..I'm extremely happy with this purchase anyway.

wow i left it priming all day at work and it encountered an error.

wtf I thought 12 hours was enough to see if it's stable.

It was at 1.55 vcore not 1.5...typo on my part....so I backed down to 2.9 and i think i'll stick with it. I'm not a benchmark whore.....i just want a decent gaming puter

dude its fine.

unless your going to be running your cpu at 100 percent for 12 hours straight I dont see the problem of keeping it at 3.0

If it failed after like 3 hours or somthing thats diffrent

Congrats, thats a pretty good for a 3700. What heatsink are you using. Are you on W/C? I couldn't even get my Fx-53 that high back when I had it.

I'm using a Zalman CNPS9500 LED with Antec Formula 5 thermal paste.

1 question...would running my CPU at 1.6 vcore 24/7 be bad if my temps are ok? i.e. 31-34c idle 45-48c load?
