wont download at reliable speed!!??

I started to download the Call Of Duty 2 demo last night. it is large "655MB", I just wanted to leave it their and I could install when I woke up the next morning. well before I went to bed it said it would only take about 2 hrs. to finish at a steady speed of about 100 KB/s.then I get up the next morning and it only got about halfway. (it was at 36% when I left??)and said it would take like 7 more hrs to finnish?? I have sattelite internet, but I thought it only lacked in online gaming.

It is possible that the slowdown was at the host's end, due to a large number of users downloading content... they do not have unlimited bandwidth as most people think. Or perhaps there was a trunk with the carrier that was being over-utilized that caused throughput to drop.
