wireless Question

I have a wireless card and just got a new router with speedbooster and was wondering what the difference is between my card and a speedbooster card?

my card:

At&t wireless which is = to this http://www.radioshack.com/product/i...ess+cards&kw=wireless+cards&parentPage=search

the speedbooster card = this

the only difference is the antenna right?

I heard that speedbooster is only helpful when dat transfer, It helps make it go faster .

but it looks the same as what i have now except that the antenna is bigger on that one and gets smaller at the tip.

so my parents bought a new router and modem cause they got hit bye lightning so anyways after a few hours i have to pull the plug on the router cause the internet will go out and then i plug it back in and works fine so can someone help me?

I just typed alot of stuff on this one forum and lost everything i typed cause the router or something got messed up.

that happens all the time.
