OK, so I built this computer about 2-3 weeks ago. The specs are in my sig.

So since I'm in the other room from the router, I use a wireless adapter to get internet. And it works OK. Except for that the wireless adapter I have always drops out the signal after a varied amount of time. So I uninstalled the wireless software for the adapter (Linksys). But when I reinstall and restart the computer, the computer is REALLY slow, so I go into task manager is using 100% of my CPU power. So now if uninstall the software and reboot, does the CPU return to normal usage.

So today my brother got a new Linksys adapter (different model from mine) for his computer he got for Christmas, and it was working well. So I tried it on my computer, and guess what, it sends the CPU back to 100%. So new adapter, different software, and different model, and still sends the CPU to 100%.

I have some money coming in during the next week or so, and I am temptd to but a PCI wireless card, but I don't know if it's going to scrw with the CPU or not. Please help.

Well.. you can always try.

The two wireless adapters work on your brothers computer right?

You'll get more replies tomorrow, I'm tired :D
