Hi,
I have a wireless network of 15 PCs. All PCs have Windows XP (Service Pack 2). Each PC is connected to a domain and the access point is connected to a Windows 2003 server.
I was wondering if it is possible to check who is connected to my network? Can Windows do it or do I need a specific program?

Basically, I want to see if anyone from outside is connecting to my network. My friend will be showing me how to password protect my network soon, but in the meantime I'm curious to see if it's possible.

Thanks! :bald:

I used to use a program called Air Snare (or something similar) to do just what you're talking about.

It will monitor who is on your netowrk by MAC address. You can set it up with the MAC addresses of the computers that are supposed to be on your network, and if someone not on the list accesses your wireless AP, you can have the computer notify you.

I'll do some looking and see if I can't find you a download link.

Edit: The program is Airsnare (one word). It looks like they've done some updating since I used it.

Here's the link.
