windows xp problem

Hello everyone. I need help with a small problem.Why does my add remove program option in the control panel not show all of the programs that are installed onto my computer? The add remove programs list only shows 3 programs. What is up? Thanks in advance for your help.

how many programs do you have installed? Can you post a screen shot? Click on "show updates" and reboot.
