My Windows Media Player won't play any videos whatsoever. When I try to play a video a message comes up saying Cannot Play the File. The error code is 0 x C00D1197. Can anyone help?

download the full pack and it make Wmp play almost as many files as Wm classic

I used my windows xp cd to repair my operating system and everything was fixed. Thanks for all the help.

Anyways now that everything is fixed my windows media player is playing videos but very slow. I have a broadband connection so they should be playing fast. Any help?

If you are streaming then they should be decent, but if its directly off a HDD then it should be normal speeds.

Try winamp, see if it is the file or wmp..
