I get those every time I run CCleaner. Also, Ad-aware will not scan. it either freezes when I go to scan, or will start the scan and then crash.

I just reformatted, so I could reformat again, but I think these problems have something to do with having updated windows because when I updated I got all sorts of issues when it updated the video drivers and I rolled those back and it worked fine.

I tried downloading the .dll file and then putting it where it belongs, but that didn't do it.

okay, so I just reformatted again, and its working now. So I think the updates had something to do with it.

Is updating really needed? Because I think somewhere in there something messed this all up.

I still haven't had a problem with the updates... I've heard alot of people complaining, but there are still more out there that arn't complaining. SP3 just feels like picking out a few select people with certain parts and screws them I guess
