Not too difficult to mod a console like that: flex-ATX mobo, integrated graphics/LAN/audio, laptop HDD/CD-ROM, floppy, small PSU... basically laptop components.

The idea is awesome, but I suppose the only way to play the original games is to have an emulator downloaded, along with ROM images.
 
Yeah, I saw that on the Screensavers once... quite an impressive mod, though I don't think M$, Nintendo and Sony would approve of it being a product on the market. ;)
