Windows 7 Hits Milestone 3

Windows 7....eh. I've heard a lot of rumors about this OS. Comes out in 2009 eh? That's crazy. I'm still on XP. I might end up skipping over vista, although I really want it. It's got a sleek design

I guess I'll have to wait though. Might not be worth getting Vista when new OS about to come out. I'll also hold out on the notebook I was going to get. Hopefully Windows 7 will be more resource friendly, although 1GB is not that bad.

edit: I got a good name: Windows Shenanigan.

That's one of the changes supposedly between Vista and Windows 7 is improved resource usage. Hopefully it will run better than Vista. Supposedly Windows 7 is going to be a lot like Vista. But we will see. I am still considering signing up for the Beta 1 group.

I'm not sure. I actually think you need to be invited. I tried finding the page for Windows 7 but it hasn't posted yet. I already am a member of the Developer team for Microsoft testing Windows Embedded and Windows Home Server, so maybe they will let me test Windows 7.
