Windows 7 Black Screen After Logo with Cursor

Bump? This thread is 4 yrs old.......but here goes anyway....if it boots into safe mode then it is most likely a corrupted driver. try to remove the video driver first, when you reboot it should boot with a default windows driver. Have a replacement driver for your gpu ready. If that does not work try one driver to replace at a time. That boot fixer may have got you to boot but the drop to the floor may caused the hard drive to corrupt something, and possibly damaging your platter. You can get a Solid State Drive fairly cheap still. Just reinstall your Windows 7 on a new SSD and use your back up to restore your data. SSD's are not prone to get damaged from a drop because they have no moving parts.
