Windows 10 audio issue

I use VLC... no problems with using that.
I also use a Topping D30 DAC which means in order for me to use that I had to disable the audio on my motherboard and remove the software associated with it. My DAC would not operate right with another driver on my pc. (this is with Windows 7) I did get a third party driver for this DAC and I've had no issues with it as of this date

I was telling him his issue was in the Windows audio pipeline in the other thread. Something about his config it just didn't like.

It has to be a recent update as it was fine in this configuration for several weeks.

Another thing I noticed.

When the issue happens the clock goes faster as well.

It's 4:26 on my phone, but my computer says 4:35.

Here's what the stopwatch shows when compared to my phone.

Phone 01:00.04
PC 01:15.79

I can restart the computer and all is fine until I shut it down and boot back up.

The BIOS clock runs fine.

Also if I shut down the PC and bring it back up it is fine.

But if I shut down the PC when it's fine the next time I boot up I'll have the problem.

Try it. Be sure to back up any setting in your bios first
