Will Wireless-n router help range with b/g devices?

Wireless-n routers are supposed to improve range and signal strength...will they also improve range to computers with b/g cards?

Yes. Wireless N routers are backwards compatible. You'll have greater range and signal strength due solely to the router ... therefore you'll be able to extend the distance between your router and wireless pc's. However, your data transfer speeds will still be limited by your b/g wireless cards.
