Will i Notice a Little bit of A difference.. ?

hi, im getting another stick of 512MB DDR Ram today for £20 and i got 768MB Ram inside allready all slots taken up.. The ones i got in the moment is 1 512MB DDR stick and 1 256MB DDR stick.. im going to take the 256 stick out and put a 512MB DDR stick in so it will go up to 1024MB Ram will i notice a difference on Games, Startup, Shutdown, Browsing the Net etc ?

There will be a difference, Not a huge one though. Extra ram always helps.

Will the 2 sticks be able to run in dual channel? (i.e. does your mobo support it and are the 2 sticks matched?)
