I have a Linksys Wi-Fi Router thats about 3 motnths old. I have an internet speed of 10mbps and about every 1-2 weeks I have to unplug it wait 3min than plug it back in agian becuase my speed goes down to 1mbps for no reason. I have about 7 things connected to it through Wi-Fi and 2 wired things. Dose anyone have any clue what might be going on? Thanks

have u checked the Linksys website if there is a firmware upgrade for your router??

I have a simular issue with my router and an upgrade has "Helped" the issue

Thankks I just updated and It seems to be working better, hope this is a fix. Thanks

I realize you may have found your fix, just in case it doesn't, check out Tomato or DD-WRT (you'll have to verify your model number will work with them). They're alternative firmware upgrades that have done a lot for some brands of wireless routers. I installed Tomato on my Linksys at home and it's been phenomenal since then.
