Why r all teen movies the same?

2. Boy is cool
3. Boy gets dared to date girl
4. Boy likes girl
5. Mates of boy tell girl it was a dare
6. Girl gets upset (boo hoo) and doesnt like boy
7. Boy ditches mates coz they're obviously bastards
8. Girl finds out about the loss of mates
9. Girl thinks boy is sweet and decides to like him again
10. They kiss and girl turns into an ogre

anyway, its probably because all Teen Movies have the same movie type and or only by modifying(a little) of what was once the most successful teen movie will they gain fame and all.

Sorry, about the extent on my Teen films experence has been mainly films like Friday The 13th, Nightmare On Elm Street, Holloween, Texas Chainsaw Masicare and Final Destination.

I just saw Final Destination 3 last night. Yet another teenaged splatter fest.

[EDIT]And some where between 2 and 11 (normally just before 11) we finally get to see boobs.
