Why is this bad

I havent heard anything bad about the Hiper ones. But i guess they could be somewhat unstable, not enough amperage, etc.

But i've heard good things about the Hiper modular PSU's.

Wait. I thought this 'modular' business was just a cable connection design to connect only the cables you want to the PSU.

These PSU's are p1ssing me off. First I have my mind set on one, and then I realize it's total crap compared to some other PSU. :p

Is the Enermax Liberty 500W a good idea? I think it uses this modular power business.

I've had some people tell me they really like the Enermax, I'm actually thinking of picking one up for myself.

A modular power supply is a specialized PC power supply unit. Unlike regular PC power supplies, it has cables that can be plugged into the unit as the user wishes. This helps eliminate unwanted clutter inside the computer. Most companies' modular PSU cables are not compatible with one another.

i lvoe my modular ocz psu, never fails me and if it does, its under warranty for 3 long years :D
