Why everyone doesn't use GIF's for animation

GIFs suck! They have limited application and with the development and more widespread use of the far superior PNG format, the GIFs days are numbered!

I think .GIF is perfect for small to medium animations. If you want bigger and high quality animations, then use .SWF.

FLASH animation all the way, for even small animation+ flash can do a whole lot and the file size is also smaller.
