I reached my limit dealing the crappy Microsoft services and products and I thought the best way for me to express my rage was to create an animated YouTube video. To organize my thoughts I thought I would start with a show outline but it got so long and it was pretty easy to read so I thought I would post it. Let me know what you think and if I forgot something. I am still in pre production.

Microsoft SUCKS!!!

1. They LOVE their milk
a. They charge me for Xbox live
b. They charge me Xbox music
c. I pay for Office 365
d. For the same price as Xbox live I get Amazon Prime which includes
i. Access to the Prime music library
ii. Access to Prime instant video (like Netflix)
iii. Discounted online shopping
iv. Free 2 day shipping
2. They love to sell broken stuff
a. Windows 95
i. You would catch so many viruses with it it was like your computer was dying from full blown AIDS
b. Xbox (original)
i. Red ring of death
c. Xbox Live
i. The site goes down more than a Philippine whore
d. Windows Vista
e. Windows ME
3. No 3rd party support
a. Not enough add on's & apps for:
i. Explorer
ii. Office products (Word, Excel, Windows video editor etc.)
iii. Phones & Tablets
4. Their business plan makes no sense Stock Price (Google-$539.18, Apple-$129.96, Microsoft-46.92)
a. Microsoft is intent on pushing their tablets on us. I have one of their first tablets(Surface RT). It's a nice piece of equipment but I never use it because I have 2 laptops. For the price of one of their tablets I can get 2 pretty good laptops.
i. Best Buy has an entire Windows section for Microsoft Tablets and laptops but they don't carry Windows phones. I don't know very many people that need a tablet in their personal lives but almost everyone could use a cell phone. From what I can tell Nokia phones are pretty damn good phones. If you can get one. I was going to get a Nokia 1520 from Verizon but it sold out. I mean it sold out Continent wide in less than 1 day. There was not a retailor or phone provider in North America that had 1 Nokia 1520. After that Verizon discontinued phone sales because of lack of interest. (WTF?!?).
b. Phones
c. Pros: I LOVE my Lumia 830 phone. Even with the lack of app support this is the best phone I have ever had.
d. Cons: The 830 is not the top of the line is the 930.
i. But that phone is compatible with American wireless signals so they came out with Icon.
ii. But that phone isn't carried by any of the cell phone carriers so you have to buy it full price and add it your plan.
iii. But most cell phone providers still don't provide service for Windows phones so you will probably have to go with Verizon or AT&T

Summary: I was ready to believe in Microsoft. I saw their stock price as a viable investment opportunity and I believe Microsoft has the tools to be a viable competitor to Google. But the more I use Microsoft services the more I hate them. I FINALLY switched my default browser from Explorer to Firefox yesterday.

LAST STRAW RANT!!!!

But the last straw was the Health Vault app. I have 3 apps for tracking health, Fitbit, Microsoft Health and the Health Vault. Out of all of the phone apps to track health the Health Vault is the worst. The Health Vault syncs with my Fitbit so everything I put in Fitbit can be found in the Health vault app right? WRONG!!! The Health Vault phone app only shows your current weight, BMI and blood pressure. If you want to track your progress you either need to just use the Fitbit app or log on to your Health Vault dashboard on the computer where you can get and provide data about thing like muscle density, water weight and a bunch of other stuff. But if I have to log on my computer to access that info WTF is the point of having a mobile app!!!.

Just a quick glance over your post, this one caught my eye...
Their business plan makes no sense Stock Price (Google-$539.18, Apple-$129.96, Microsoft-46.92)

Their business model is doing better than Google in terms of market cap...
Microsoft: $382.1 billion
Apple: $752 billion
Google: $364.9 billion
MS is worth more than Google. Apple is worth more than both combined.

I also don't see how you're comparing Amazon Prime and Xbox Live... Two totally different things. Xbox Live is way cheaper too. Amazon Prime is $100 a year, XBL can go for as low as $30 if you shop around. So there's that.

Gonna just say this now, but no flame wars :).

If you make an argument, back it up with reasons.

Apple sux because they know how to hype up the public the spend 10x more than the real value of their overly proprietary products.
Apple is more proprietary and locked down tighter than a nun in a house of ill-repute

Well..they're a business. What do you expect? They need to get revenue from somewhere. Google gets their revenue from ads, so they can provide free services. MS is a software company primarily and don't get a ton of money from ads like Google does.

Two totally different services. Like comparing apples to oranges.

a. Windows 95
i. You would catch so many viruses with it it was like your computer was dying from full blown AIDS
That's a user error - don't download porn or visit shady sites and you don't get viruses.

b. Xbox (original)
i. Red ring of death
c. Xbox Live

d. Windows Vista
e. Windows ME
I'll agree with those except Vista :p. After SP1, and after hardware manufacturers actually put out proper drivers, Vista was actually pretty good.

3. No 3rd party support
Not sure what you mean...3rd party support for what? In regards to what? Windows is a widely-used platform, so there's somebody who can help you on damn near every street corner.

a. Not enough add on's & apps for:
i. Explorer
ii. Office products (Word, Excel, Windows video editor etc.)

Add-ons / apps aren't the responsibility of MS necessarily...that's up to 3rd parties to offer such things. Don't like the availability? Make an app or add-on yourself then - they offer .NET / Visual Studio for free and there's tons of tutorials out there.

Sounds like buyer's remorse to me.

Buy it 3rd party and just use your SIM card, as long as the network supports the radio bands that the phone has in it.

IMO, Nadella has made some smart moves for Microsoft recently. Mostly with how they're approaching open source.

-They Open sourced .NET / ASP.NET on Github to contribute more to the Mono Project
-They released Visual Studio Community Edition, royalty free, which is basically Visual Studio 2013 Pro
-Released Visual Studio Code editor for Linux/OSX to be able to more easily work on .NET projects in those OS's
-Free upgrade period of a 1 year window for Windows 10 to all non-enterprise copies of Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1

Sorry man but a lot of your arguments are flawed in nature - here are a few:
Your entire argument in #1 - it's a company what do you expect? If you want something free please start using Linux and sell all of your Microsoft stuff. Every other company does the same thing and they get paid as well.

Point #2 - sell broke stuff? You are going to have to elaborate on that, if you are going to make reference to Windows 95 which is a 20 year old OS. Please point me in the direction of another company in 95 that presented a GUI based system. Virus's - you are ill-informed on why Windows gets virus's. Windows gets virus's because the majority of the world runs Windows OS's - why in the world would you write malicious code for an OS that only 20 to 30% of the world is running? That's like going to Vegas and playing BlackJack and having the dealer hit you when you have 18. Sure it works 30% of the time but 70% of the time you'll bust. Why would you write code that only works 30% of the time?

I'll add more later.

Why does the fact that Best Buy sells Windows tablets have anything to do with Microsoft.

If you do not like Best Buy's products, then take it up with Best Buy; not Microsoft.

If we're on apples and oranges, Microsoft is a staple company that has sold operating systems to the majority of people running a computer since the mid 90s (3.1 blew). Google is an internet company that has been relevant barely over a decade and doesn't really concentrate on one thing alone like Microsoft did for years. There are also many alternatives to Google products unlike Microsoft in the 90s. I mean, Apple was around back then but nobody really gave a **** about them until the iPod.

Speaking of that, Apple; Steve Jobs created the holy grail of hipster tech to resell year after year with a very tight niche ecosystem that appeals to the younger masses and older masses alike. Nuff said really. When you make the Air Jordans of tech it's hard to top that.
