why do people hate some good programs?

im sitting there and like WTF??? these programs are really good, Bitcomet has never failed me and vlc is just amazing so why do you think these groups hate them soo much?

its all a matter of opnion. im sure there is things you dont like that others do. all comes down to what an individual wants in such a program.

it could be that someone doesnt understand how to fully use the program
or it could be something just as simple as they dont like the way it looks
or how fast it performs
there are too many reasons to label
in one sitting

I used to hate VLC. I wanted to murder it's inventor. Then I realised it could play .bin and .cues. Now I want its inventor to have my babies. In my case it was stubbornness as a result of not knowing how to use VLC to its full potential.

Like me I have Roxio 10 and hate it cause I cant use it....I use WMP to burn discs..just easier

I've never heard anyone talk smack about VLC. The only thing I don't like is that subtitles can overlap if there are two voices going on at once. Might be a codec I'm missing. Eclipse subs are pretty good though.
