Which One

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 that I aquired and I was going to upgrade it and found out that Dell makes there own mobos and the skrew holes do not match with another companys boards. I asume this might be the same with your case and you might have to purchase a new case.

You should probably listen to xtreme-3D on this one. Dell uses a lot of propritory(sp?) parts. Basically they make it so its very hard to upgrade. Your best bet would be if you want to get a new motherboard get a new case while you are at it.

Thanks Zapdos

If you still want to try it, I would try the ASUS board. I looked at some reviews and it seems to be a good board from what I've read.

Just buy a board that you would buy if you were buying a new case. That might be what you will be doing if it doesn't fit, and there are some pretty good cases for cheap out there. You might just want to look into upgrading that way. It would be easier, and that is what I'm going to do with my Dell.
