where has all the athlon 4800+ dual core (939) gone?

Please say that the lack of athlon 4800+ dual core socket 939 cpus are due to it being chirstmas! please dont say that the lack of them is due to the new line of AM2 cpus and so they have discontinued the 939!

do you think it is too good to be true? a FX-60 going for about £300?

ive also checked eBay but can only get one from the USA which i really dont want to do as if anything went wrong it would be a git to sort out

Yep, all I found were AM2's also. Seems that they don't make that processor in 939 anymore.

Well, you may find one, sure. But it isn't going to be brand new.

2006 = end of Skt 939. Your best bet is used off ebay or a forum.
