I thought it was memory, but memory is brand new and seated correctly and the motherboard is brand new. So what else could it be?

If its a long continues beep I'm sure its your memory, are your sure you have put the write memory in? I had the same problem once because I put server ram in by mistake

yeah im pretty sure its RAM aswell.

try a diff stick if possible and also if possible try a different brand.

Well, I put corsairs in and it made that beep, but it also beeped when I put this valueram memory sticks. The video card is seated right too.

The motherboard I put all this into is a ASUS P4V8X-MS socket 478.

That mobo doesn't exist. Are you sure you didn't mean ASUS P4V8X-MX socket 478?

Can you list the ram specs you bought so we can check them against your MB specs, also I just thought of something else, some MB take ECC RAM and some take NON ECC ram. (I apologies now if I got classification wrong but its something like that)

I figured out what's wrong. That MX motherboard only supports 333 mhz memory and my corsairs are 500.
