when i put cd into drive it doesnt refresh

What about the issue where CD/DVD drives stop "updating" at all? When i can put a CD/DVD in the drive, and it will still display the icon and name of the old media.

Try uninstyaling them. Go to device manager, uninstall the optical drives, then restart the computer, let them reinstall, and that might do it..
