If you are considering a DFI, get it. If your CPU socket 939 or 754 or Socket A?

Have you bought the processor yet? If you havent, go with a 939. They stopped making the 754, and you can get hella more power out of a 939. But if you already have the 754 and are on a budget, than I dig.

DFI Lanpart NF3 250GB. Nice motherboard for the 754's.

Only thing i dont like is that it does not support Dual Channel.

Yes, do not get the 754. They are being phased out, I think AMD has even stopped making them.

Are you going to be overclocking? Whats your budget look like?

Thats what I do too, just buy stuff as I have the money. I would say go with a Venice 3200+ and a DFI Lanparty NF4 UT mobo. As for RAM, well, I'm not too good of an expert on RAM, so we will wait until Nubius or Gaara or someone else finds this thread. :).

Are you looking to go SLI? That is a difference of about $50 in the cost of the mobo.

MoBo:

CPU:

And just to be safe, make sure you get some of this:

What are you looking at for cooling? I would say the Zalman 7700CU or the ASUS Star Ice.
