what webcam do you use?

My wife and I are getting ready to be parents, the due date is monday the 24th! I was thinking of getting a webcam so that I can record small clips of the baby and e-mail them to family. What webcams do you all use? I'm not looking for a high-priced one. I've seen them range from 20 to 150 bucks. Does anyone out there use the hp brand webcams or Creative webcams? I'd like to find a webcam that could focus well from 5 to 10 feet away from the object.
