I am looking at upgrading my computer from integrated graphics to dedicated although I do not know what video card suits me best because of my feeble power supply.

Here is my system specs:
AMD Phenom x4 (1.8GHZ)
2GB DDR2 Ram
320GB 7200RPM Hard Drive
AMD 780g chipset, HD3200.
Integrated audio, 5.1.

My power supply is a Fortron FSP300-60GL, which is 300W.
So what is the best GPU I can get to work properly with that power supply.
Also if you see a cheap power supply (By cheap I mean affordable, not a dirt cheap crap brand) which is around 550W, let me know please.

Thanks, Danny.

Looking at playing games such as Far Cry 2, Call of Duty 4 and Crysis.
I want something so I can enjoy the graphics but still have a playable framerate.

you need a new power supply.. No modern gpu will operate on a 300 watt power supply.. which im assuming has an 18amp rail.

Wait until you can afford a new psu AND video card

Will spend upto around £120 in a few weeks.
Maybe push to 150 if I do some tradeins.

All of the products you have recommended to me look well within my price range, if I buy them in GBP on newegg it should cost me around £100 - 120, I just need to find out if they can ship to the UK.
Thanks.

I don't know what site you order off from. Give me a link and I'll look around for you.

I have been looking at some products on Ebuyer.

Nvidia is toping ATI with the Price vs performance

and the 9800 gtx has OFFICIALLY been taken off of newegg.com

how is nvidia taking over price to performance...? the 4830 is as low as $75 after MIR, the cards you linked are close to $150, yet only perform about 10% better across the board, how is their price to performance ratio even close to the 4830's...?
