What should I get?

Okay guys, I've never asked for hardware buying advice before but... I'm gonna have about $250 to spend in about three weeks and I'm wondering If I should buy a 6800GT? I mean 7800 is coming out pretty soon so I don't want to be buying something that will be obsolete in a few months but... opinions? Advice?

You have a 6600GT.... stick with that. Should be good enough untill the new gen.

It will be good enough even after that, the new gen is just for people that have to have "top of the line" right away. I would wait and save the money, wait till next summer to upgrade the video card or buy a second one if you have the motherboard and run SLI.
