What is your ISP speed?

I'm so a shamed to admit that I'm using ADSL so I'm lucky if I even get 5Mbps. It got so bad last weekend where I had to call up my ISP to complain so I got a free fiber optic upgrade which will promise me 30-40Mbps for only a few extra quid a month, downside is I have to wait 17 long days before I get this upgrade.

Ouch. I'm paying $65/month for 100/10 but I bought my own modem so I get alittle more than that.

I've been in Japan about two months... I'm still on a 4G hotspot. My fiber gets installed soon though, super excited!

My ISP is Danish STOFA 300/50mbps.

My residential connection here isn't great (80/20) and so I've upgraded to the business BT package here (300/50). Not ideal, but gets me a dedicated IPv4 address so don't need to faff with DDNS any more. I'll soon be delivering remote training so want the extra upload for what is essentially streaming.

My download and upload are a bit better when I am not on a VPN

Why is everyone outside of the U.S. get much better upload speed?

Upload comes from having fiber. If any fiber connection isn't symmetrical it means they are purposely holding it back.
