what is this "oY" character i see when pinging?

I've noticed something strange lately.. i always ping the router, other computers in the network, and other websites to check for connectivity.....

but something strange is appearing...

what the heck? it goes in places where the IP should be shown..

anyone experienced this before?

nevermind i figured it out winsock error.. fixed it thanks anyway!

repair winsock catalog...seen it once before, my boss spent an entire afternoon figuring it out
