What is a good cheap controller for PC?

I would like to know if there are any good cheap game controllers for PC? The USB 360 one is very expensive, and I want to know if there are others.

Also, are there any controllers that are good for CS:S?

Both of those should work nice. In fact I have the second one. It works great with any game I play. Should work with CS:S too.

I have both of these controllers,i Use the first one for all my gaming and the 2nd one for just my emulators or when i play 2 player with someone.i Highly recomend the 2nd one,its just fits in your hand better and also it has the 2 joysticks,but the 1st one is alot lighter.

The second one has two joysticks. It is a matter of personal preference. I have never used the first one.

You don't have to buy a special 360 controller. I bought just a normal xbox360 controller and download the drivers via windows update. I think they got in trouble for charging more for the PC version.

I guess you can buy a special wireless version now designed for the PC. Orginally the wireless wouldn't work on pc.

I say spend the extra money you'll be much happier. The 360 controller pw3ns plus its like a standard controller design for all the latest games.
