What pentium4 and AMD turion would it compare to. I heard 2.3ghz for the P4 but nothing for turion.

I mean how fast is a 1.67ghz core solo processor compared to a turion or p4.

Looking for a comparrison kinda like how a amd64 3000 is only 1.8ghz but is comparable to a 3hz p4.

I'm talking about core 1 not core 2 (conroe) and even then I thought a 2.16ghz conroe is the equilvent or just a little faster than a 3800 x2.

There's three types:
- Core solo (single core)
- Core duo (dual core)
- Core 2 duo (aka; Conroe as everyone calls it)

I'm not sure how much the Core solo compares to anything else. To be honest, I don't know ONE person with it. Haven't heard much about it either. Google up some benchmarks, maybe?

ive heard its pretty similar in performance to one of those single core centrinos
but it is more battery friendly

ya i've always just assumed its another name for centrinos... i would assume it would be very close....

for p4.. i would say it would be close to 2.6 - 2.8 ghz

for turion, i would say it would be equivalent to... 1.8ghz..

those are just guesses...

The current centrinos are the core solo/duo processors. It replaced the pentium M.
