What in the world just happend?

I went to delete a folder containing 3GB of old music. It said the folder was to big to go in the recycle bin and asked me if I wanted to permanently delete the folder so I said yes. Here's the crazy part... I go to check the space on my HDD and I had less free space than before! Before deletion, I had 5.8GB of free space and after deletion I now have 3GB of free space. The folder contained 2.8 GB of music... what in the world happened? I'm so confused right now.

there is a place where you can adjust how big the Rbin is. so it can fit in it. as for the less space problem i am not sure

try defragging that should free up the lost place

go to rectycle bin and clean it out, also like he said right click properties and adjust the total size of what can be held in that folder.

if you have a small HD i wouldnt bother using the recycle bin as all that happens in data you "delete" gets sent to the recycle bin
